Started as a grade school project in
the 1930's, this collection of stories, pictures and travel plans
has become something of a landmark itself. Now CaliforniaLandmarks.com
will bring this collection to the public. The State's registered
landmarks construct the core of this collection. Although we are
one of many sources on this state’s history, we hope that
the unique view provided from decades-old photographs and the
accompanying personal stories of discovery, failure and adventure
will "infect" our visitors with what we lovingly call
the "landmark bug."
